How does someone keep mentally healthy?

As someone who values his mind above ( nearly) everything differently. then is a short list of 7 effects I do- feel free to repeat it to yourself!

wear a helmet. Luckily, I will have" chapeau hair"!! If there's anything that could beget a head injury, the helmet is on. Biking, skiing, etc., whatever! I am not trying to be a idol, I do not watch if I look stupid, and a head injury does not earn me.
I sleep like a champion. I do not know who these people go to for social events at 10 pm, but it's not me. While I do go out from time to time (because I've to be present), I do not stay long and go to bed. I sleep about 8 hours every night. Great for brain health.

energy law. Your brain runs on energy and I try not to eat a lot of reused food or tons of sugar. A commitment to healthy eating also means I eat healthy fats like avocados, omega-3s (fish) and Allowing of effects like olive canvas. nutrition is more important for mood and brain health than numerous people realize. I am not perfect, but I try to stay the course!
Challenge that brain! Every day I make time to read new exploration and learn commodity new. I am always looking to grow and learn- indeed trying to make a language into the app! While utmost people can not do it for hours (I can not moreover), it's important to set away * some * time each day just to learn and grow. Harvard believes that"scientists have plant that brain exertion stimulates new connections between whim-whams cells and may indeed help the brain induce new cells."

don't do medicines. I've a latte (caffeine) and an occasional blend or glass of wine (wine at least) in the morning and that is about it. I do not drink regularly, I do not use any medicines, and I want my mind to stay the same. While not everyone has a bad medicine experience, uses medicines, or has some kind of negative effect from recreational medicine use, the threat isn't worth it to me.
regular exercise. I try to train with weights a many days a week and make sure to do other effects a many days a week- perhaps it's just yoga at home or walking around city, but for a healthy brain, keep moving is important. Science believes that" exercise helps grow new whim-whams cells and strengthens the connections between brain cells (synapses). As a result, the brain becomes more effective, plastic, and adaptable, performing in Better performance."

Laugh. I know it sounds ludicrous, but whether it's with musketeers, my pet, or while watching Netflix alone, horselaugh is both relaxing and positive, both of which are important for brain health. Stress releases cortisol, suppresses the vulnerable system, and takes its risk. Chancing ways to relax, decompress, and look at effects appreciatively can help reduce the goods of constant stress and make the world a better place.
I want to know what all of you're doing to ameliorate or maintain your brain health.
